This blog is dedicated to the updates of the Albright project…
Welcome to our Albright Community Hub! This blog will be used to post monthly informative articles and updates for the Albright Project. Here you will hear from the different voices and people involved with the building and construction.
I wanted to introduce myself and my role at CSV Midstream. My name is Mike Crawford and I work as the Director of Community Shared Value. I am your point of contact if you are looking for a person at CSV to collaborate with or if you need to ask any questions about any of the communities that we work in.
My background is in oil and gas (business development), mostly in Western Canada. Farming on both sides of the family, I have an appreciation for picking rocks, stacking bales, and cleaning more stalls than I care to count. When not working, I like to spend time with my community – whether coaching youth sports, serving on various non-profit boards, or lending a hand if someone could use it.
Let’s talk about what ‘community’ is to me… it’s the people, businesses, environment, and economy that CSV impacts. That means, our neighbors, our local associations, our vendors, producers, business partners or anyone living in the area.
One of the most important things CSV will be doing in the future is setting up a non-profit organization in the GP area which will be focused on supporting social issues directly within our operating location. The objective here is to positively impact the people and areas where we operate. So please reach out and send me your ideas or connect for a coffee (either virtually or in person). I look forward to chatting with you. Let’s share our stories.
Check back here on our monthly blog for new articles and posts that will report on all things Albright!
